HOSEA, FLORENCE REEVES, age 89, of Birmingham, passed away on February 13, 2008. She was a member of Huffman Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Woodrow Wilson Hosea, a son Bobby W. Hosea of Birmingham, her parents Carl Aaron Reeves and Martha Forrester Reeves. Mrs Hosea lived a long and rewarding life. In her professional life, she was an excellent buyer and sales supervisor for women's and children's' s clothes at Pizitz, Yeildings and Jaffe Dry Goods, wholesaler for statewide David Lee Store's for more than 30 years. In her personal life she supported and loved her family and taught them by her daily example and high standards. She will always be remembered as the ultimate cook of southern food. Florence leaves her son, Joel C. Hosea of Princeton, New Jersey; daughter, Gail H. Bailey of Maylene, Alabama; sisters, Ruth Hardin of Smyrna, Georgia, Lois Frederick of Middletown, New Jersey, Sue Reeves of Marietta, Georgia; brother, Leon Reeves of Marietta, Georgia; grandchildren, Devon Hosea, Christopher Hosea, Stephanie Hosea Princeton New Jersey, Robbie Hosea Huntsville, Alabama, Kaye Hosea Dillion of Huntsville, Alabama, Ginger Bailey Crook of Maylene, Alabama, and Scott Bailey of Montevallo, Alabama as well as four Great-grandchildren.
