She was survived by her husband, James R. Simpson (married March 25, 1920 at Dahl, Pulaski County, Kentucky); her daughters, Gracie Bullock of Acton, Indiana, Zella Weaver of Greenwood, Indiana, Cloda Simpson of Indianapolis, Zenia Simpson, Imogene Simpson, Maxine Simpson, and June Simpson, all of Dahl; her sons, Lester Simpson of Greenwood, Indiana, Denton Simpson, Willard Simpson, and Jerry Simpson, all of Dahl; her sisters, Opha Mink of Public, Bea Mink of Plato; her brothers, Ondis Carroll of Dahl and William L. Bullock of Camp Pickett, Virginia; her aunt, Mollie Bullock of Dahl; her uncle, Willie Barr of Bridgeport, Indiana; and 6 grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at the Flat Lick Baptist Church with Reverend Henry H. Miller officiating.
