Daughter of Howard Morgan Robinson and Belva Pearl Keene.

Married twice:

1. 14 Apr 1937 Concord, Merrimack, New Hampshire to Joseph Alfred Garceau.

To their union was born 4 children:
Joseph Alfred Garceau, Robin Stanley Garceau, Peta Garceau, and Ronald Bruce Garceau.

2. to Mr Keith.

Barbara passed away while flying in a hot air balloon race from Catalina Island, to the mainland, California. At that time, Barbara was a 42 year old grandmother, from Hartford, Connecticut. She boarded her balloon and tucked her good luck mascot (a stuffed toy dog) into her gondola. This was an ill fated venture. Only one balloonist out of five successfully reached the mainland, California. The rest had to be rescued from the water. Barbara lost her life and her body was recovered two days later.
