Blanche Doberstein, 104, formerly of Little Rapids, died Saturday, Jan. 22, 1994, at Cedar Lake Campus in West Bend. Blanche was born June 30, 1889, in the town of Lawrence to her late parents, George and Sylvia (Phillips) Church. Survivors include one daughter, Mary Ellen and Lee Yetter, Pittsville; one son, Melvin and Florence Noth, Menomonee Falls; 14 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Jule Noth, and her second husband, George Doberstein; by one son, Phillip Noth; and one infant son, Carlton; two daughters, Evelyn Stewart and Rosalie Clancy, and one granddaughter. Visitation will be from noon to 1 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 25, 1994, at First Presbyterian Church, DePere. Funeral services at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the church with the Rev. James Wooten officiating. Burial in South Lawrence Cemetery. Ryan Funeral Home, DePere, is assisting the family.
