Ollie Emmaline (Clark) Barnes
Funeral services for Mrs. Ollie Emmaline (Clark) Barnes, 82, of Livingston, and formerly of the Barnes Ridge Ridge Community of Pickett County, were conducted at 1 p.m. Monday, Oct. 14, 2002, from the chapel of Livingston Funeral Home with Bro. J.D. McDonald officiating. Burial was in Overton County Memorial Gardens with Livingston Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.

Mrs. Barnes died Friday, Oct. 11 at Overton County Nursing Home. She was a homemaker and member of Antioch Church of Christ and loved quilting and embroidering.

Born June 27, 1920, in Pickett County, she was the daughter of the late William Epp "Bill Epp" and Annie (Linder) Clark. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Barnes; a son, Richard Barnes; a daughter, Brenda Beaty; and two brothers, Willie D. Clark and Clois Clark.

Survivors include a daughter, Shirley Barnes, Monroe; seven grandchildren, Kimberly Werner, Penny Sells, Melissa Sells, Scott Cyphers, Amy Nealon, Stacy Barnes, and Stephanie Barnes; six great grandchildren; and nieces, nephews, and other family members.

Pallbearers were David Conner, Tim Conner, Dwayne Conner, Jeff Reeder, Jeff Cales, and Tony Hurd.
