AMHERST, Nov. 11 - Word has been received here of the death of a former resident of this city. Mrs Mary Krautter, 81, who died early Tuesday morning at her home in Lakewood. She was born in Amherst township and lived in the vicinity of Amherst and Lorain until eight years ago when she move to Lakewood.
The deceased is survived by two daughters Miss Laura and Miss Lillian, both at home, two grandchildren, one brother Frank Ray, of Amherst, and numerous nieces and nephews living here and in Brownhelm.
Mrs. Krautter was formerly a member of the First Methodist church, of Lorain.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:30 Thursday afternoon from the late home, 1536 Cordova avenue, Lakewood. Burial in Elmwood cemetery where short services will be held at 3:30.
