Washburn, Levin A. Braun, 86, a life-long resident of Washburn, died at 7 am Friday, Dec. 26, 1958, at the Atteberry Nursing Home.

His funeral was at 2 pm Sunday at the Pacey Funeral Home with the Rev. Ernest Glock officiating. Burial was in Buckingham Cemetery.

He was born near Washburn Jan. 29, 1872, son of Bernhardt and Martha McFarland Braun. He married Elsie Clark at Bricktown in 1903.

Surviving are his wife; four sons, Walter and Arthur, Washburn; Bernard, Los Angeles, Calif.; and Morris; two daughters, Mrs. Fay Miller, Decatur, and Mrs. Edward Pomeranke, Washburn; and two sisters, Mrs. Killian Glaub and Mrs. Elmer Hahn, Washburn.
