Loyd W. Gouff 80, Lakeview, AR formerly of Glasford died at 1:57 p.m., Thursday, June 6, 1985 in Baxter County Regional Hospital, Mountain Home, Arkansas.
BOrn May 2, 1905, Farmington to Joyn and Mattie Oldfield Gouff, he married Maired M. Clauson on June 21, 1930 in Peoria, Il. She survives along with one daughter Glenda A. Bitner, Lakeview, four grnadchildren; two great-grandchildren; and one sister, Jessie Corey of Farmington. Two brothers preceded him in death. He worked for caterpillar Tractor Co for 41 years until retiring and was a member of Glasford Masonic Lodge. Visitation was held Saturday evening at Glasford Chapel, Woolsey Funeral Home, where services were held on Sunday. The Rev. Merle Williams officiated. Burial was in Lancaster Cemetery.
