BOBBY C. RICHEY, 74, died Friday, September 4, 2015 at the Veterans’ Home in Oxford after an extended illness.

He was born June 17, 1941, in union county to James and Lois Richey. He graduated from Belden High School where he was voted most popular and most handsome. A veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps, Bobby served his country from 1960-1969 during the Vietnam War. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was the owner of an auto body repair business for over 30 Years.

Services will be 3 P.M., Sunday at the Lee Memorial Chapel with Rev. Jim Holcomb Officiating. Burial with Military Honors will follow in Lee Memorial Park. Lee Memorial Funeral Home is Entrusted with the arrangements.

He leaves behind three sons, David Richey and wife, Wendy, of Tupelo; Jimmy Richey and wife, Janet, of Belden; and Sean Richey and wife, Tammy, of Saltillo; a Brother, James Richey and wife, Doris Marie, of Belden; and a sister, Kathy Hammock and husband, Chris, of Canton; nine grandchildren, Kelly Summers and husband, Chris; Leighanna Witt and husband, Ryan; Teri Richey; Austin Richey; Alex Richey; Ashley Sanford and husband, Daniel; Emma Bethay; Ashton Richey; and Lauren Richey; and four great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Doris Helen Richey.

Visitation will be 3-6 P.M., Saturday.
