Ogden – Peggy Lee Mohler Evans passed away peacefully August 30, 2015, at her home surrounded by her family, after a long hard battle with diabetes. She was born to Leland E. and Peggy Sparrow Mohler, their beloved and only child, April 5, 1955. She graduated from Layton High School.

Peggy Lee married Allen Whittle and they had two children. She married Warren P. Evans on Sept. 8, 1984 bringing four children to their family. They were later sealed in the Manti Temple with their daughter Krystal. Together they raised seven children. Their home was filled with children and laughter.

Peggy Lee was a member of the LDS Church and served in many callings. Her favorite calling was playing the piano at the Mountain Ridge Assisted Living Center and serving the residents with her husband.

Mom was a very talented lady. Many of her talents included crafts, tole painting, crocheting, which she learned from her grandmother. She also enjoyed reading and spending time with her family at Camelot and Snowbird. Mom was an accomplished pianist and also had a beautiful singing voice. She retired as a systems analyst at HAFB after 30 years.

Peggy Lee is survived by her parents, Peggy and Leland Mohler; her children, R. Blaine (Erin) Whittle, Jennie (Danny) Fry, Krystal Hughes, Joshua Evans, Tobi (Joel) Wilkinson, Brittany Evans, Sarah (Pat) Stark; and 19 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her eternal companion, Warren and her beloved grandmother Violet Sparrow.

Interment in the Roy City Cemetery.
