BARBERTON -- Howard C. O'Brien, 93, passed away Thursday, April 30, 2015.

A resident of Barberton area for 68 years, he was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. Howard retired from Midwest Rubber and was a member of Barberton Lodge #750 A&M.

Preceded in death by his wives, Dorothy and Glada and son, John; Howard is survived by his son, Thomas (Viva); daughter, Tina Arnold; ten grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; brother, Bill O'Brien of N. Carolina; sister, Ruth Waggner of Arizona; along with other relatives and friends.

Funeral service will be held Tuesday, 1 p.m. at the Campfield-Hickman-Collier Funeral Home, 566 W. Park Ave., Barberton 44203 with Pastor Mike Prebynski officiating. Burial at Greenlawn Memorial Park with military honors conducted by Firestone VFW 3383. Calling hours Monday, from 6 to 8 p.m. with a Masonic service at 7 p.m.
