Funeral services will be held Friday afternoon at the Goodwin Funeral Home in Frankfort for Charles Ashford Wolf, 87, father of John C. Wolf of Mulberry route 1 and Ellis A. Wolf of Frankfort route 7. The Rev. John Westermeyer will officiate. Burial will be in the St. Luke cemetery.
Mr. Wolf died Wednesday morning in the Clinton County hospital, Frankfort. He had been in failing health for six months. He lived at Mattix Corner and had resided in this county all of his life. He was born August 28, 1872, the son of John E. and Elizabeth Chizum Wolf. His wife, Lena Kaser Wolf, to whom he was married in 1895, died in 1950. At the time of his death Mr. Wolf had retired from his lifelong career of farming.
Surviving with the two sons are seven grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
