John Aarron Sullivan, 81, of Wyandotte passed away at home Saturday, September 5, 2015.

He was born on January 2, 1934 in Peoria, Oklahoma to James and Theresa (Qualls) Sullivan. John was a veteran of the United States Navy. He married his wife of over sixty years Josephine Golden on September 12, 1954 in Riverton, Kansas. They returned to the Wyandotte area in 1964. He worked as an insurance agent for many years, he enjoyed hunting and fishing, putting out limb and trot lines and traveling but most of all enjoyed his grandchildren. Mr. Sullivan was preceded in passing by his parents James and Theresa and two sisters Dora Norman and Ruth Anderson.

Survivors include his wife Josephine Sullivan of the home, his children Jim Sullivan of Wyandotte, Johnny Sullivan and his wife Cathy of Afton, Carolina Arnold and her husband Charles of Wyandotte, Cynthia Hord and her husband Daniel of Joplin, His grandchildren, Casey Davis, Johnathon Ellis, Shasta Littlefield, Jennifer Halloran, Charly Smith, Joe Sullivan and Kandice Peak. Also surviving are his great grandchildren, Sarah Davis, Guy Davis, Case Smith, Caelie Ellis, Hannah Ellis, Riley Ellis, Keira Littlefield Taylor Halloran, Cadence Sullivan, Ally Sullivan and Kaitlyn Peak.

Visitation will be 6-8 on Tuesday, September 5, 2015 at Brown-Winters Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Fairland.

Services are 10:00 AM on Wednesday, September 9, 2015 at Faith Assembly of God in Wyandotte with Reverend Johnny Merriman officiating. Interment will follow at the Brown Cemetery under the care of Brown-Winters Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Fairland.
