Billy Ty Mordecai

Billy Ty Mordecai, 23, of McAlester, died Thursday, Aug. 3, 2006, in Quinton.

Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Brumley-Mills Chapel with the Rev. Lonnie Clunn officiating. Burial will be at Bache-Red Oak Cemetery under the direction of Brumley-Mills Funeral Home of McAlester.

Born March 21, 1983, in McAlester, he was the son of Gary Joe and Kathy Rae Mordecai. He grew up in the McAlester area and graduated high school from Crowder High School in 2001. He was employed at Miller Glass in McAlester.

Survivors include one son, Riley Mordecai, of McAlester; his parents, Gary and Kathy Mordecai, of McAlester.

Also, a brother and sister-in-law, Ryon and Jessica Mordecai, and nephew, Gavin Mordecai, of McAlester; a brother, Michael Mordecai, of McAlester.

And, a sister, April Mordecai, of McAlester; his grandparents, Joe and Jerrie Mordecai, of McAlester, and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Pallbearers will be Gary Mordecai, Ryon Mordecai, Gary Hamilton, Danny Tacheria, Charles Godwin and Michael Drew Mordecai.

Honorary pallbearers will be Justin Lawrence, Jimmy Helmert, Ty Osbourne, Brian Fry, Brian Sawyer, Justin Lawrence and all B.A.C.A. members (Bikers Against Child Abuse).

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother
