David M. Duncan
AGE: 74 • Bellmawr
On September 4, 2015, David M. Duncan passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family.
Son of the late Millard E. and Mildred E. Duncan. He is survived by his wife Barbara (Schwanda), two daughters Barbara DeFeo (Mike), Dawn Murphy (Joseph), and four grandchildren Heather, Michael, Joseph, and Ashley. Also survived by his brother Stephen and his wife Babette and nieces & nephews Lisa, John, Stephanie and Stephen.
David is a Councilman of Bellmawr overseeing the Dept. of Public Safety, the Dept. of Health, and, the Planning Board Liaison. He was a Veteran of the US Navy, as well as an active member of the VFW 7410. David was a member of the Union Ironworker Local #399 for 35 years as well as an experienced insurance agent, and a Bellmawr resident of almost 45 years. David sat on the executive board of the Bellmawr Democrat Club, was president of the Bellmawr Lions club, and member of the Bellmawr Men's Club.
There will be a viewing from 6:00pm to 9:00pm Wednesday evening, and 10:00am to 11:00am Thursday morning at GARDNER FUNERAL HOME, RUNNEMEDE. Funeral service 11am at the funeral home. Interment Woodbury Memorial Park, Woodbury, NJ. Family and friends may share memories at www.GardnerFuneralHome.com.
