JEANERETTE - Services for Anna Bell "Chut" Derouen, 81, will begin at 2 p.m. Friday at David and Landry Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. A.L. Lyle officiating. Interment will be in the St. John Cemetery .

A native of Cypremont Point and a resident of New Iberia, Mrs. Derouen died at 5:45 a.m. Thursday , Sept. 24, 1998, at her residence.

Mrs. Derouen was a housewife.

She is survived by a son, Daniel Derouen of New Iberia; a daughter, Ola Estelle of New Iberia; seven sisters, Daisy Bonin of Tioga, Eula Mae Bonin of Jeanerette, Ruth Daty of Kenner, Ella Laughlin of Elton, Willa Simmons of Westlake, Genevieve Toups of New Iberia and Rita Cunningham of Houma; four brothers, Dewey Hebert of Eunice; Harrison Hebert of Lafayette, Rev. Andrew Hebert of Lydia and Benjamin Rawlins of Louise; 10 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Fayo Derouen; her parents, Jessie and Rose Ewing Rawlins; two sisters, Nellie Borel and Mary Friou; two brothers, Walter Pinell and Harry "Babe" Pinell Sr.; and a grandson, David Estelle.

Pallbearers will be Michael Derouen, Buddy Estelle Jr., Dicky Estelle Sr., Jimmy Estelle Sr., Patrick Lanclos Sr. and Joseph Owens Jr.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Buddy Estelle Sr. and Peter Thibodeaux.
