Peacefully at Leisureworld LTC on Sunday, March 29, 2015 in her 101st year. Violet was predeceased by her beloved husband Richard (1988), by her brothers Bernard and Len and by her parents Arthur and Elizabeth Mary Flower. Will be deeply missed and always remembered by her children Brian (Margaret), Virginia (Stu), John (Betty), Alan. Dear grandmother to Tania (Kevin), Michael (Penny), Dean (France), Shaun (Debbie), Evan (Martina), Becky (Mike), Eric, Tara (Rob), Jason and great-grandma to Joshua, Matthew, Andie, Jeffrey, Jason, Kale, Nate, Tara, Lauren, Everett, Adelle and also remembered by many nieces and nephews. Vi had many interests and was a very busy lady, lawnbowling, curling, 5 pin bowling and always ready for a good card game. Vi was a very avid volunteer with the Red Cross, Riverdale Mission Circle and Eagle Place Seniors and she loved shopping. A heartfelt thank you to Dr. Male and the many caring staff for the love and support to Mom over the last 7 years.
