Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Batts, age 81 of Route 1, Turners Station, Kentucky died Friday, August 17 at the Baptist Home East, Louisville, Kentucky. She was a member of the Campbellsburg Baptist Church and Organist for over 40 years.
She is survived by one son, Boyd D. Batts, Louisville, Kentucky; two granddaughters, Mrs. John (Carla) Gerding, Berlin, Germany; and Mrs. Dudley (Susan) Daniel, Florence, Kentucky; two great-grandsons, Robert Dunean Gerding and John Andrew Gerding, both of Berlin, Germany.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m., Sunday, August 19. Prewiit's Funeral Home was in charge of the funeral arrangements. Officiated by Rev. Roger Winnsett, pastor of the Campbellsburg Baptist Church. Interment was in the Port Royal Cemetery.
