Edna Kay was born April 5, 1944 at Mt. Erie, IL to Samuel Emmette and Addie Belle (McKay) Allison. She married David McKinney in 1979 and he preceded her in death.
Edna Kay retired from North American Lighting in 2009 and was a driver for local Amish. She was a member of Enterprise United Methodist Church; Treasurer of United Methodist Church Women’s Club, 1st Vice President of Illinois Home Education Association and served two years on Craft Camp Committee at Monticello, IL
Edna Kay is survived by four sons Samuel (Sheila) Gill of Cisne, IL; Joseph (Michele) Gill of Carterville, IL; Carl (significant other LeCosta Pettigrew) Gill of Cisne, IL; and Patrick McKinney of Cisne, IL. Two sisters Joyce (Ellis) Parrish of Mt. Erie, IL and Sue Stout of Cisne, IL; nine grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren also survive.
Preceding her in death were her husband and parents.
A Celebration of Life will be 10AM Saturday, September 12, 2015 at Hosselton Funeral Home. Burial will be in McKendree Cemetery at Mt. Erie, IL.
Memorials in Edna Kay’s memory may be given to Dr. Scranton Memorial Fund.
