Rev. Dr. William Doyle Stevens, 78, of Albion died Nov. 3, 2002 at Wabash General Hospital in Mt. Carmel.
He was born Sept. 24, 1924 1924, in Rushville, Ind., the son of Ray and Berthia Vanatta Stevens.
He married Leota Robbins on Aug. 8, 1945, in Kittery Point, Maine. She survives.
Survivors include his wife, Leota; two daughters, Doris Ann Havens of Scottsdale, Ariz., and Deborah Mae and husband Larry Mayo of Wheaton; three sons, John Dennis and wife Vicki Stevens of Albion, Paul Douglas and wife Kim Stevens of Edwardsville and William Daniel and wife Cathy Stevens of Jonesboro, Ga.; one sister, Freda Miller of Rushville, Ind.; one brother, Lloyd Stevens of Rushville, Ind.; nine grandchildren; two step grandchildren; and two step great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother.
