EMERALD ISLE, NC - Blanche Mae Archer, 90, died peacefully on Oct. 5, 2013, at her home in Emerald Isle, NC. Born in Palmyra, NJ, on May 25, 1923, Blanche graduated from Bordentown High School. There, she met the love of her life, Stan Archer. Together, they owned Archer Insurance Agency. They were members of Trinity United Methodist Church. After retiring, they moved to North Carolina. Blanche loved to be surrounded by her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. You could always see the sparkle in her eye when she spoke of their latest accomplishments or showed pictures from her copious photo albums. Blanche was surrounded by friends. Her home was always open. Whether playing old movies, listening to favorite crooners, or plowing through books, she always had time to sit, chat and share a cookie or two! Blanche was predeceased by her husband, Stan, and daughter, Kim. She is survived by her son, Bruce (wife, Evelyn); daughter, Sally (husband, Alan Waterman); son David (wife, Becky); son-in-law, Sean Rooney; 11 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. We will miss her dearly. A memorial service will be held at Bordentown Cemetery at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Nov 16.
