Age 83, of Brandywine Hundred passed away peacefully on April 24, 2008, surrounded by her family. She was the daughter of the late Ignace and Sara Hart.
She was predeceased by her husbands, Paul F. Eiden, Martin Greenberg and Isaac Bowman. "Gerry", together with her husband, "Marty" Greenberg owned and managed Towne & Country Cleaners on Concord Pike until their retirement. She was a Life Member of Hadassah, N'Amot, Sisterhood of Beth Emeth and Deborah. Gerry enjoyed many hobbies including making porcelain dolls, needlepoint, playing bingo and cards with her friends.
She is survived by her son, Gary M. Greenberg of Wilmington; daughters, Suzanne H. Lubin (Richard) of Wilmington and Phyllis A. Feingold (Jim) of Hockessin; 10 grandchildren, Sheri Cosler, Jayne Lubin, Eric Goldstein, Hope Lubin, David Lubin, Robyn Levithan, Josh Greenberg, Mathew Greenberg, Stephanie Hodges and Robyn Murray and 16 great grandchildren.
Special thanks to all of her friends at Brandywine Hundred Apartments for their friendship. Funeral services will be held at 1 pm, on Sunday April 27, at CHANDLER FUNERAL HOMES, 2506 Concord Pike, Wilmington. Interment will be private.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Congregation Beth Emeth, 300 W. Lea Blvd., Wilmington, DE 19802-1236. Shiva will be observed on Monday evening.
