According to her obituary, "Mrs. Emma T. Flegal, wife of Wilber Flegal of 1119 3rd Ave., Duncansville, died at 3 p.m. yesterday in Mercy Hostpital, where whe was admitted Oct. 17, after a lengthy illness. Mr. and Mrs. Flegal celebrated their golden wedding anninversery on June 24.

She was born in Altonna on May 14, 1893,a daughter of Goswin and Mary Keiper, and on June 24, 1915 was married to Mr. Flegal in St. James Lutheran Church by the Rev. C. L. Boecele.

Surviving are her husband, one daughter, Mrs. Vivian M. Magill of Duncansville, four grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, a sister, Mrs. Ruth Troxell of Hyattsville, Md., and a step brother, Emil Fimschilling of Altoona.

She was a member of the Duncansville Lutheran Churcah and the Hollidaysburg Chapter, Order of Eastern Star.

Friends will be received in the Liebegott Funeral Home, Duncansville, from 3 to 4 and 7 to 10 p.m. today.

According to the funeral notice, "Services for Mrs. Emma T. Flegal of 1119 3rd Ave., Duncansville, will be held at 2 p.m. Friday in the Liebegott Funeral Home, Duncansville, bu the Rev. Julian Park. Interment in Alto Reste Burial Park. Frineds bill be received in the Liebegott Funeral Home from 3 to 4 and 7 to 10 p.m. today."
