Gianna was the daughter of Adam Hadjis of Cedar Rapids, Iowa and Yahira Jones of Chicago. She was born July 14, 2007.
Gianna was a bright, energetic and beautiful little girl.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Friday, Jan. 20, at Boone Funeral Home, 3240 W. 79th St., Chicago. A special graveside service will follow at Mount Olive Cemetery in Chicago. A Trisagion service in Gianna's memory will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home, by Father Ciprian Sas of the Greek Orthodox Church of St. John, Cedar Rapids.
Gianna is also survived by her grandparents, Alex and Mindy Hadjis of Cedar Rapids and Pamela Jane and David Sass of Des Moines; and her uncles, Nick and John Hadjis of Cedar Rapids.
