Tina was born to Dallas "D.J." and Louise Vincent on Sept. 30, 1967, in Freeport, Texas, graduating from Brazoswood High School in 1986. Tina attended the University of Houston (majoring in architecture), transferred to University of Texas (Law) at Austin. An accomplished writer and a gifted presenter (in both English and Spanish), she was recognized by her professors as one of their most promising graduates.
While a senior at the University of Texas, she married, eventually moving to Alaska. Tina had four children, Christina, Chase "CJ," Wyatt and Dawson, all of whom she loved more than anything in the world, no matter what. She home schooled all four for many years, exploring all the adventures Alaska had to offer. She was the typical soccer, softball, hockey, snowboarding, football and wrestling mom.
Returning to Texas, she graduated from University of Houston in 2009, earning a Bachelor of Psychology, Magna cum Laude, minoring in Political Science. In recent years, she had been working toward her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology at the University of Alaska while working full time. She was chosen MisQuito her senior year at the Great Mosquito Festival.
Tina is preceded in death by her father, Dallas "D.J." Vincent; and Christopher Cyphers, father of her children.
Surviving Tina are her children, all of Anchorage, Christina Cyphers, Chase "CJ)' Cyphers, Wyatt Cyphers and Dawson Cyphers; mother, Louise Vincent of Oyster Creek, Texas; siblings, Glenda (Sammy) Chambless, Barbara (John) Johnson, Marilyn (Dan Olivier) Vincent, Ronney Vincent and Michael (Sharon) Vincent; aunts, Nolia (Joe) Martinez, Theresa (Lloyd Thibodeaux) Trahan and Winnie Vincent; and nephews and nieces, Dale Horak, Chip Horak, Steven Horak, Dallas Vincent, David Vincent, Tiffani Schoen, Sarita Schoen, Natalie Fikes and Quinton Vincent.
