Fred Agee of Gary, IN, age 84, passed away peacefully on Sunday morning, August 16, 2015 at Community Hospital in Munster, IN. A retiree of Inland Steel, Mr. Agee was a faithful deacon of Calvary Institutional Baptist Church serving for over 50 years. Celebration of life is Saturday, August 22nd at 11:00 am, Calvary Institutional Baptist Church, 2400 Virginia St., Gary, IN. Burial will follow at Evergreen Memorial in Hobart, IN. Visitation is Friday, August 21st noon-8pm, Family Hour 5-8pm, Guy and Allen Funeral Home, Gary, IN. Mr. Agee is survived by his four children, Beverly Agee Johnson, Andre (Rita) Agee, Kassandra (Darryl) Chandler, Dion Agee; nine grandchildren, and one great grandchild. one brother, RG (Martha) Agee, two sister-in-laws, Ethel Agee, Frettie Agee ; one aunt, Ella Mae Hudson; one uncle Office Hayes. Preceding him in death, his beloved wife of 60 years, Alice Ruth Agee, parents, Arthur Sr., Otis, Aaron Jr, and sister, Ella Mae Rich.
