OTTAWA — Rosaline "Rosie" Buescher, 90 of Ottawa died at 2:48 a.m. Wednesday, April 25, 2018 at The Meadows of Ottawa. She was born September 30, 1927 in Leipsic to the late Charles and Catherine (Kramer) Ottenweller. On October 1, 1949 she married Robert J. Buescher who died August 13, 2001.
She is survived by six children: William (Drema) Buescher of Findlay, John (Ann) Buescher, Marie (Denny) Recker, and Jane Hartley all of Ottawa, Robert (Patty) Buescher of Delphos and Margaret (Christopher) Nadolny of Toledo; eighteen grandchildren; thirty-five great-grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren; and a sister, Jane (Richard) Brandt of Leipsic. She was also preceded in death by her son-in-law, Steven Hartley; two granddaughters, Jen Recker and Erin Buescher; four sisters, Sr. Mary Jogues Ottenweller SND, Beatrice Ottenweller, Phyllis Lowery, and Joan Pfahler; and two brothers, Bishop Albert Ottenweller and Raymond Ottenweller.
Rosie was a homemaker and a member of Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church. She enjoyed playing bridge and being in her card clubs and dominoes groups.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m. Monday, April 30, 2018 at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Ottawa with Fr. Matt Jozefiak officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. on Sunday, April 29, 2018 at Love Funeral Home, Ottawa where there will be a Scripture Service at 7:50 p.m.
Memorials may be made to Putnam County Home Care and Hospice or to Sts. Peter and Paul Education Fund.
