It appears she married Unknown Holsy before marrying Mr. Taylor as Holsy is given as her surname on the marriage record though her parents are listed as they are above.
Annie married William Jackson Taylor and they are the parents of Zoora Bell, Abell, William, Clara and Virginia Taylor. They lived in Currituck, Hyde County and in 1930 their four year old granddaughter lived with them.
Annie's death certificate indicates she worked as a midwife but none of the census records reflect that.
Her sister, Mary Eliza, died of typhoid fever in 1925.
Willie died at home in November 1936 of heart trouble and insanity. Annie was admitted to the asylum about the time of his passing and was in care here 4 mo 15 days before her death of cerebral arteriosclerosis.
Her brother, Lewis Edward Slade, is also buried here, having been in care here for 4 yr 20 days and succumbing to heart disease in 1941.
