Verna R. Burstadt Stockamp, was born November 11, 1923, in Collinsville, Ill. She went to her heavenly home September 8, 2015, at the age of 91.
She was married to the Reverend C. G. Stockamp in 1946. Together, they served five congregations of the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod with the most recent, Triumphant King Lutheran Church of Lake Oswego.
Verna is survived by her four sons and their spouses, eleven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; sister, and brother.
Her memorial service will be held at 5 p.m. Saturday, September 12, 2015, at Triumphant King Lutheran Church, 4700 Lamont Way, Lake Oswego, OR 97035.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial gifts be given to Triumphant King Lutheran Church.
