Miss Amy G. Clark, 73, formerly of 261 Jackson Dr., died today at 6:30 a.m. at Davies Nursing Home, Omro, where she had been a patient for the past two months.
She was born Feb. 22, 1881. in Oshkosh, daughter of the late Mr and Mrs. Herbert M. Clark. Miss Clark attended La Crosse Normal School and taught for many years before returning to Oshkosh from Hammond, Ind in 1946. She was a member of Oriental Chapter 16 Order of Eastern Star.
Surviving are two half-sisters Mrs. Mela G. McAbee. Breckinridge. Colo, and Mrs. Walter V Hewitt, Grand Rapids. Mich.; and two half-brothers Herbert H. and Elmer W, Clark, Rt. 4, Oshkosh.
Services will be held Wednesday in private at 2:30 p.m. at Spikes. McDonald & Harford Funeral Home, with the Rev. G. Paul Stowell, pastor of First Congregational Church, officiating. The casket will remain closed. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery. The family has requested that any memorial to her honor be made through the Oshkosh Community Chest.
