Barbara Carol Richardson Music of North Wilkesboro passed away September 9, 2015 at her home.

She was born May 25, 1943 in Wilkes County.

Mrs. Music was preceded in death by her father, George Lavern "Vernon" Ballard; mother, Ruby Adams Haynes; her first husband, William Lake Richardson; and step-father, Odell Haynes.

Surviving are her husband, Richard Scott Music, Sr.; two sons, Brian Richardson (Dawn) and Billy Richardson (Betsy); three daughters, Tammy Redmon, Sheila Shumate (James) and Rita Stevens (John); two step-sons; one step-daughter; two brothers, Terry Haynes (Terri Lynn) and Dennis Haynes (Maxine); sister, Wanda Anderson (Bill); step-brother, Butch Hooks; seven grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; six step-grandchildren; and four step-great-grandchildren.

Funeral service will be held at Miller Funeral Chapel.

Burial will follow in Mountlawn Memorial Park.
