Carl Henry Maisel, 80, of Ellicott City, MD., passed away Friday, October 2nd, 2009 at his residence.

Carl Henry Maisel was born in Catonsville, MD on October 11, 1928, the son of the late Ernest F. and Freda (Zaiser) Maisel.

He attended Catonsville Elementary and High Schools, graduating in 1948. He joined th US Naval Air Corps, during the Korean War. He was stationed aboard and aircraft carrier in the Phillipines from 1949-1951. Upon his honorable discharge from the military, he enrolled in the University of MD., College Park, where he earned a degree in Engineering. He was employed with the Worth-ing Pump Co., in Hackettstown, NJ., and in his later yaers with the MD State Highway Administration, where he was selected the very first Worker of the Month.

Carl is survived by his sons and their families; Mark A. Maisel of Fl., David C. Maisel of NC., Stephen D. Maisel of TX., and Matthew J. Maisel of CA., his brother Stephen J. Maisel of MD.

Hew was preceded in death by his beloved wife and infant daughter; Jerrie P. Maisel and Susan Lee Maisel.

Services and interment for Mr. Maisel will take place in Charlotte, NC.
