She was born in Riverview, on June 5, 1912, the daughter of Edward and Eveline (Brien) Soucy.
She was a member of the Church of the Assumption in Redford, New York and the Saranac Senior Citizens.
She was survived by four sons and daughters-in-law, Victor E. and Brenda Ashline of Grand Island, Florida, Lawrence J. and Barbara Ashline of Melbourne, Florida, Robert G. and Linda Ashline of Morrisonville, New York, Leeward G. and Ruth Ashline of Beekmantown, New York; four sisters, Evelyn Lemieux of Peru, New York, Rena Latour of Plattsburgh, Margaret Latour of Plattsburgh, Rita Raab of Merritt Island, Fla.; a brother-in-law, Harold Dupra of Plattsburgh; 18 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren, four great-great-grandchildren; and many special nieces and nephews.
Her husband, Victor A. Ashline died on April 24, 1976. Three sisters, Lena Farrell, Bernadette Soucy and Ann Dupra; two sisters-in-law, Marguerite Ashline and Margaret Sharron; and a daughter-in-law, Carol Ashline also died earlier.
Calling hours were held on Friday, August 25, 2006, from 4 to 8 p.m. at the O'Neill-Redden-Drown Funeral Home in Plattsburgh.
A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated at 1 p.m. Saturday, August 26, from the Church of the Assumption in Redford. Interment followed in St. Joseph's cemetery in Dannemora, New York.
