Jessica L. Weimer (1985 - 2015)
Obituary

Jessica Louise Weimer went to be with the Lord peacefully on Thursday, May 28, 2015. Her last days were spent in one of her favorite places to visit; Las Vegas, Nev. Jessica was born in Anchorage, Alaska, on Oct. 13, 1985, and moved to the Kenai Peninsula at the age of 5. There were many memories made throughout her time on the Peninsula: she enjoyed fishing, camping, hiking and road trips with her family. Jessica liked to cross country ski but she was most passionate about running. Her Dad would say, "you can run like the wind." In the winter of 2011, Jessica moved to San Diego, Calif., to attend school and pursue her dream of working in the medical field. It was in California that she found many different outlets to pour her love and heart into. She enjoyed filling her time with volunteering at various blood banks and charitable fund raisers and serving at her Church in numerous capacities. Jessica had battled with Aplastic Anemia for quite some time and had endured monthly transfusions. However, this never kept her from embracing all that life has to offer. She and her mother loved going on excursions and spontaneous trips together, especially to Las Vegas. She is survived by her loving parents, Sam and Pat Weimer; grandmothers, Mary Lou Weimer and Jackeline Pomeroy; aunts and uncles, Lore Weimer and Charles Weimer, Larry and Sue Weimer, Chuck and Bonnie Weimer and Veronique Pomeroy; many cousins; all of the special people too numerous to mention; and also her loving and helpful friends. Jessica was intelligent, loving and beautiful. There was such a brilliant light that resonated within her and the ability to love monumentally. She was the most precious and important person in our lives and our hearts will never feel the same joy without her. Be at peace, Muffer, and run with the Angels. We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks for the outpouring of love and support from many family, friends and acquaintances. Through you, we are able to see the radiant light our dearest Jessica left behind, thank you.
