Mr. Arms was born in this county, the son of Bee and Martha Blair Arms.He was a member of the United Baptist Church.Surviving besides his wife, Minerva Spradlin Arms, are five children: three daughters, Mrs. Grace Caudill, Denver, Mrs. Eunice Webb of this city, and Mrs. Cora Conley, Riceville; two sons, Frank Arms, Wheelersburg, and Morris Arms of Oil Springs. He is also survived by two sisters, Mrs. Rachel E. Crace, OilSprings, Mrs. Flora Conley, Lucasville, Ohio, and one brother, Sam K. Arms, Denver.Twenty-six grandchildren also survive.
Funeral services were conducted at the Beech Wall Baptist Church at 10:00 A. M. Sunday, January 9, by Rev. Hargis Conley assisted by several Baptist ministers.
Burial was in the family cemetery at Denver, Ky. under the direction of the Jones Funeral Home. Paintsville Herald Thursday 1-13-1949
