Cornelius Elaine Williams was born September 16, 1944 in Los Angeles, California, to Eugene and Wiley Mae Walker. Cornelius, affectionately called "Tiny" by family and friends was the first of two children born to this union. After divorcing both parents remarried, Wiley Mae to Darthus Ellison where 8 children were born to this union and Eugene to Brenda Walker where one child was born to their union. Eugene also had 5 other children. Tiny had a total of 15 siblings.

Her heavenly home going was preceded by her mother Wiley Mae, father Eugene Walker, stepfather Darthus Ellison: sisters Nona Pellum, Linda Walker and Marilyn Walker; brothers Bernard Ellison Sr., Fletcher Ellison, Johnel Ellison and Larry Walker.

"Tiny' attended school in the Los Angeles Unified School District, She attended Graham Elementary, Edison Jr. High, and graduated from John C. Fremont High School. In 1964, Tiny had just entered nursing school when her mother unexpectedly passed. She put her education plans aside so she would be there to attend to the needs of her 8 younger siblings.

Darthus and Wiley Mae being Christians, reared Tiny and all their children using the teachings of Jesus Christ. Tiny accepted the lord at an early age, joining Good Faith MBC where she was baptized by Pastor Gus Giles.

In 1965, Tiny and James Garrison had 1 child, Camiel Garrison. On January 25, 1967 Tiny married Robert Lee Williams, Sr. and to this union 3 children were born, Robert, Charlene, and Rolando.

Tiny was very creative, She loved to paint, sew, design gift baskets, make personalized gifts and cook. She was know for her chill over rice, spaghetti, liver and onions and soul food dinners. She always had enough to feed anyone who was hungry. Tiny had a huge heart and was a very loving and kind person. She really loved spending time with her family. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She was very "outspoken." She had the ability to make everyone, especially her grandchildren, think that they were her favorite because what was important to them was important to her. She was a surrogate mother, not only to family members, but to countless others who were in need of the love and support that only a mother could give.

The time has come for my departure: I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness which the Lord the Righteous judge will award me on that day.

On Thursday, July 9th, 2015 at 7:43 AM, Tiny received her wings and flew home to be with the Lord.

SHE WILL BE DEEPLY MISSED.
