Annis "Big Red" Jensen was an American roller derby skater. She was nicknamed “Big Red” after skating on a short-lived team called the “West Virginia Redheads.” The name stuck — and her red hair became iconic on the track. She married Russ "Rosey" Baker on the Bombers. In 1954, she was the first women's captain of the San Francisco Bay Bombers in the ARSD professional roller derby league. She wore number 38 while on the Bombers, then became the Cardinals captain in 1965, and turned out to be one of Joan Weston's main rivals. Joan now wore #38 on the Bombers, replacing "Big Red". At the time of retirement in 1969, she was the oldest active skater in league history. In 1964, she was inducted into the Roller Derby Hall of Fame. She returned to active skating for a very short time, again with the Bay Bombers, in mid 1974 skating alongside fellow stars Ann Calvello, Joan Weston and Jensen's daughter, Barbara Baker.
