Robert 'Bob' Philip Anton, 61 of Waterloo died Sunday, Dec 26,1999 at Covenant Medical Center of natural causes.
He was born July 20,1938 in Waterloo, son of Philip & Gwen Holub Anton. He married Linda Van Loh in Washington in Oct 1962. They later divorced. He married Lynda R Weidman on Dec 28, 1982 in Cedar Falls.
Mr Anton received a bachelor's degree in criminology from Wartburg College, Waverly, and was a teacher of police science at Hawkeye Community College. He worked as a patrolman, detective and forensic specialist for the Waterloo Police Dept from 1966 until his retirement in 1987. He was a US Army veteran.
