Gerald E Durre, that's Durre- take hurry and put a D on it Durre. Born 2/28/28 with face misshapen; loving hands shaped the bald head he would display most of his life. Nothing ordinary - graduating from 7th grade, tending two farms as child, cooking orange mystery mix to flavorful zucchini bread, purposeful vacations, and unwavering faith in God.Pansy and he instilled this sense of purpose and faith in their five children, 9 grandchildren, and 22 great grandchildren. Excelling for 87 years at his main purpose on this earth-to love, share and serve God.He is survived by his daughter Dianna, 9 grandchildren 21 great grandchildren. With no formal funeral, we ask only that you get together with those you love and remember this precious life, corny jokes, and Godly man. We rejoice as dad receives his heavenly reward to be able to sing (no nasal monotone); to dance without two left feet, and to rejoice in the splendor of our Heavenly Father. Hasten the day we can all be together laughing, singing, hearing the same old jokes, and loving the Lord and each other. While we mourn our loss, heaven resounds as one of their own finishes the race reaching the heights we yet aspire.
