Attendants were Miss Florine Edmison, cousin of the groom and Bruce Alexander, brother of the groom.
The bride was born and raised on a farm in this community and attended school at district ten known as the Tolman school. She also attended the Silver Creek High School.
The groom has spent most of his life in Duncan, where he graduated from high school with the class of '31. Since then he has been employed with the Union Pacific.
In the evening a wedding dance was held at the Duncan hall. Out of town guests were Mrs. C.E. Holliday and family of Elm Creek, Mr. and Mrs. John Sandell of Wichita, Kansas, Mr. and Mrs. Lester Mason of Cheyenne, Wyo., Mr. and Mrs. Robert VanBuskirk of Kearney, and Mr. and Mrs. Arza Alexander of Omaha.
