Robert L. Westhoff, Jr., 52, of Parsons, passed away at 2:05 p.m., Friday, September 18, 2015 at Freeman West Hospital in Joplin, Missouri.
He was born November 1, 1962 in Wichita, Kansas to Robert Lee and Wilma Joan (Hibdon) Westhoff. He grew up in the Wichita area where he attended high school. Following high school, he worked as a self-employed carpet-layer, mainly in Wichita, before moving to Parsons in 2006.
He enjoyed fishing.
He and Lynn Collins were married. They later divorced.
Survivors include:
One Daughter – Maranda Westhoff and Anthony Woods Pawhuska, OK
One Grandson – Bentlynn Woods
One Sister – Vicki M. Saliba and her husband, Sam Granbury, TX
Numerous Aunts, Uncles, Nieces and Nephews
He was preceded in death by his father, Robert L. “Bob” Westhoff, on November 5, 2014; his mother, Wilma Joan Westhoff, on March 8, 2007; and an infant sister.
Graveside memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, September 25, 2015 at St. Patrick’s Cemetery in Walnut, Kansas.
