James A. “Jim” Desha, 74, of Ringgold, died Tuesday, December 2, 2003.
He was a lifelong resident of Chattanooga and North Georgia area. He was retired from Peerless Woolen Mill after 34 years of service. He also worked for seven years at the Bi-Lo on Ringgold Road. He was of the Baptist faith.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Gertrude Wrinkle Desha.
Survivors include wife, Ruby Desha; daughter, Betty Mullican, Red Bank; grandson, Jay Ake, Red Bank; and step daughter, Tami Brown, Dunlap.
Services were held at 2:00 p.m. Friday at the South Crest Chapel with Rev. C.F. Strickland officiating.
Burial followed at Lakewood South Memory Gardens.
