William Edward Apgar, II accepted God's invitation to join Him in heaven on Sunday, June 28, 2015. He was 35. Born in New Brunswick, he grew up in Sayreville before moving to Highland Park.While in high school, he was active with the school's theatrical group, and was also a member of the Odyssey of the Mind. He attended Jersey City University, where he was a member of the Tau Kappa Epsilon Fraternity.He was the manager of the Old Bridge Wawa for the past three years, and also was the owner of Homeowner's Choice landscaping and design in Highland Park. He had a passion for landscaping.He was a lifelong communicant and former Altar Server at Nativity of Our Lord Byzantine Catholic Church, East Brunswick.Surviving are his parents, William Apgar of Magnolia, and Patricia Kosty Apgar of Sayreville; a brother, Anthony Michael Bifano of Monroe Township; a sister, April and her husband Matthew Planck of Englishtown; his maternal grandmother, Emily Marchak of Monroe Township; his nephew and Godson, Lincoln Edward Planck, and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He will be missed by all who knew him.Funeral services will be held on Friday at 9:00 AM in the Rezem Funeral Home, 457 Cranbury Road, East Brunswick, followed by a 10:00 AM Divine Liturgy at Nativity of Our Lord Byzantine Catholic Church, East Brunswick. Interment will follow at Chestnut Hill Cemetery, East Brunswick. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday and Thursday 2-4 & 7-9 PM. A Parastas will be celebrated on Thursday at 7:00 PM in the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Ozanam Family Shelter, 89 Truman Drive, Edison, NJ 08816.
