Again has death removed from amongst us another of our old and very much respected residents. Daniel Wescott departed this life January 18th. In the 76th year of his age. The
funeral services were held at the church on Sunday the 20th, Rev. C.J. Mott officiating. "Uncle Dan" as he was familiarly called, was born and always lived upon the farm where he died. Very early in life he experienced religion and united with the Methodist church of which he always remained a faithful member and during nearly the whole time was an official member. Was a liberal contributor to the support of the Gospel and an efficient worker In the Master's vineyard. Surely we shall all miss Uncle Dan, and remember his earnest prayers and exhortations, as he was very much gifted in prayer and exhortation. He leaves four sons and two daughters and a large circle of relatives aad friends to mourn his loss. And now his elder brother. Rev. J.B. Wescott, lies dead, having been stricken with paralysis Jan. 3lst and died Feb. 5th, in his 78th year. He was present at his brother's funeral two weeks ago.
