George A. Gordon, 74, of 7 Arkansas Ave., died Wednesday at Candler General Hospital after a short illness. He was a native of Ludowici.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Mamie E. Gordon of Savannah; five sons, George A., Charles E., William D., Cecil R. and Richard D. Gordon, all of Savannah; two daughters, Mrs. Elizabeth Howard of Crescent and Mrs. Grace Barrs of Clarksville; a brother, Clarence Gordon of Darien; a sister, Mrs. Florrie Thompson of Ludowici; and 11 grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral, 2:30 pm today at Fox and Weeks Funeral Home; burial in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
