Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Saturday in Dawson & Wikoff Funeral Home, Illiopolis, with visitation 6 to 9 p.m. Friday. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Illiopolis.
Mr. Rogers was born in rural Illiopolis, son of Jesse and Elsie Webster Rogers. He was retired from Borden Chemical Co., Illiopolis, and was an Army veteran of the Korean War.
He married Veda Mae Ginger in 1959.
Surviving are his wife; son, Michael, at home; daughter, Carla Suzanne, at home; stepson, Leland Leight of Bloomington; mother of Illiopolis; brothers, Eugene, Jesse, Jr., and Jack, all of Illiopolis; Franklin "Butch" of Colorado; sisters, Mrs. George (Joyce) Thompson of Mount Vernon; Mrs. Carroll (Sue) Hohenstein of Illiopolis; Mrs. Joe
(Linda) Latasa of Springfield. One sister preceded him in death.
