Death of George E. Tucker
Grandson of Gen. Logan Victim of Appendicitis, in Philippines
Kent, Ohio, August 7. Cablegram received today announced the death of George E. Tucker, fourteen years old, son of Colonel and Mrs. W.F. Tucker in the Philippines. He was a grandson of Mrs. John A. Logan. He died of appendicitis. George E. Tucker unveiled the statue of General Logan, his grandfather, in Iowa Circle, this city. Mrs. Logan, his grandmother, who has been visiting at Kent, Ohio, was expected here last week.

Funeral of Mrs. Logan's Grandson
Will Be Held This Afternoon
The body of Mrs. John A. Logan's grandson, George Edwin Tucker, who died in Manila several weeks ago, has been brought to Washington for burial. The lad was the fourteen year old son of Lieut. Colonel Tucker, United States Army, who is stationed in the Philippines and his mother is a daughter of the widow of General Logan. The funeral will be held this afternoon at 3 o'clock at Calumet Place, the residence of Mrs. Logan. Rev. F.G. Bristol will conduct the services and the interment will be private.
