Miss Alice McDowell Wed at Miles City
----
Word has been received at Terry of the marriage of Miss Alice Noreen McDowell, eldest daughter of the late E H McDowell to Mr Ralph T Gilmore, at Miles City last Friday night, the marriage being performed by Justice Seth Martin at his office, the witnesses being W J Dunningan, Sr., and Mary Sindelar. Mrs Gilmore was raised to womanhood in Terry and has taught school at Miles City the past two years, while the groom is a prominent and a wealthy rancher near Miles City.

Mrs Ralph Gilmore Dies at Ismay
---------------
The shocking news was received at Terry Sunday, of the death Saturday evening, of Mrs Ralph Gilmore at her home at Ismay during childbirth (with twins), the immediate cause of death being heart failure. Mrs Gilmore was formerly Miss Alice McDowell of Terry, and was a daughter of the late E H McDowell, former publisher of the Terry Tribune.
Funeral services were held Monday morning at Ismay from the Catholic Church with Rev Fr Fitzgerald officiating. Following the services the remains were brought to Terry and burial made from the Catholic Church in the family lot in the Terry Cemetery. Prayer and singing were the simple burial rites at Terry. A number of old friends and acquaintances paid tribute to the dead in attending the funeral services.
The deceased was born at Minneapolis, but practically all her life she had been a resident of Terry, graduating from the local high school with honors, and afterward teaching several years, among the places being in the public schools of Miles City. The young matron would have been twenty-five years of age September 21, and had been married to Mr Gilmore but a few months.
Besides her husband to mourn her death, the deceased leaves a sister, Mrs Mickey Devlin, her step-mother, Mrs E H McDowell, her half sister, Ella McDowell and her aunt, Mrs Harry Otis, all of this vicinity.
