He was born in Chazy, NY, a son of the late Thomas and Bertha Behan and was a U.S. Navy Veteran. “Tony” was happiest at home, surrounded by family, cooking side by side with his wife during holidays, picnics, and any other occasion that provided them the opportunity to host the many friends and family that loved to visit. Of course, if there was a Yankees or Giants game on you would find him in his favorite chair.
In addition to his wife Betty, he is survived by a son Michael Behan and a daughter Julia Behan Mancini and her husband Jeffrey Mancini.
He will be deeply missed by his 5 grandchildren; Melissa, Douglas, Jessica, Nicole, Wiley, and great-grandson Jackson. As well as 2 daughters-in-law Shannon Rose and Colleen Behan.
