Gladys J. Sand, age 88, of 14522 Crossroad Drive, town of Mishicot, entered into eternal rest Sunday, September 20, 2015, at the Holy Family Memorial Hospital in Manitowoc. Gladys was born February 9, 1927, in Two Rivers, to the late Nickolas and Evelyn Zimmer Klein and has been a lifelong area resident. She was a member of the Lakeshore United Methodist Church in Manitowoc and a member of the United Womens Group of the church. Gladys enjoyed music, singing, flower gardening and was an avid Green Bay Packer fan.

She is survived by one daughter, Sharon Mott, of the town of Two Rivers; two sons and one daughter-in-law, Bruce Sand, of the town of Two Rivers; Scott and Sue Sand, of Prairie Farm, WI; and by her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is further survived by three brothers, Cyril (Beatrice) Klein, of Two Rivers; Darwin (Hilda) Klein, of Shoto; Donald (Ruth) Klein, of Two Rivers; a sister-in-law, Jean Klein, of the Madison area; nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by three brothers, Loren, Glenn, and Aaron Klein; one sister, Eunice Barnes; and a son-in-law, Harlan Mott.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, September 23, 2015, at the Lambert-Eckert Funeral Home, 344 So. State St. in Mishicot, with Pastor Carly Kuntz officiating, with burial to follow in the Mishicot Public Cemetery. Relatives and friends may call after 9 a.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home, until the time of service at 11 a.m.
